In the past year, there have been numerous changes to laws regarding the prescription of narcotic medications. Effective Monday, October 6, 2014, the government updated its policy for Hydrocodone prescriptions. Health care providers are no longer allowed to phone-in or electronically send Hydrocodone refills to your pharmacy. You MUST call your doctor’s office to receive a new written prescription and present a written prescription to the pharmacy.
