Artificial braces and devices are to be provided by the employer when the work accident claim has been accepted.

This includes instances where the injured worker already had a prosthetic part that was damaged or destroyed in the accident. Thereafter, replacements or necessary repairs for normal wear and tear will be paid out of the Second Injury Fund.
