Medical Records Often Determine the Outcome of Your Case

In so many worker’s compensation cases we see, especially denied claims, the content of your medical records will likely make or break your case.  We see many cases where an employer does not believe that the worker was hurt at work.  In those cases, it is very important to see what the very first medical record states about the cause of the accident.  We see many cases, unfortunately, where someone hires us and says they were hurt at work, but the first doctor they went to after the accident noted nothing about the injury being caused by the job.  If you are hurt at work, make sure your doctor documents that fact.
